The American Kennel Club (AKC), the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI) and Eukanuba share a common passion: to showcase the excellence of dogs.
The Eukanuba World Challenge offers top dogs from around the world the unique opportunity to participate in the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship in California. All eligible dogs may compete to win the $50,000 prize for Best in Show.
Dogs also compete for the title of Eukanuba World Challenge Champion, with a $10,000 prize; additional prizes are $3,000 for the runner-up and $2,000 for first runner-up.
In 2010, the 41 selected dogs, representing countries from around the globe, receive an all-expenses paid* trip to compete at the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship and/or the 2010 Eukanuba World Challenge at the Long Beach Convention Center in California, USA, December 4th - 5th, 2010.

The national kennel club of each country will be responsible for nominating its country's top dog plus one reserve dog. The following terms outline the 2010 Eukanuba World Challenge requirements.
1. Participation to the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba World Challenge, and to the events held in California in December 2010, entails full agreement to the following terms and conditions.
2. Terms and Conditions are subject to change and changes will be posted on the Eukanuba internet site (www.eukanubaworldchallenge.com). The challenge is open from date of posting on the internet. It is a challenge, not a contest, so that good faith effort and cooperation is expected from participants.
3. If there is a Eukanuba Breeders Club in the country of residence of the owner, he/she WILL register via this local Breeders Club AND satisfy any local regulation set for the Challenge by this Club. This may require being or becoming a member by August 1st, 2010, the latest.
4. The "Eukanuba World Challenge" allows selected people and their dogs to participate in the "2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship" in the USA. The Challenge and Championship are independent events and may have different conditions (for instance, FCI breed requirement for the Challenge, and AKC breed requirement for the Championship).
5. Participants to the Eukanuba World Challenge act independently and can in no way be considered as agents, representatives or employees of Eukanuba or P&G.
6. 'Eukanuba' is a brand owned by Procter & Gamble. Procter & Gamble International Operations SA, CH-1213 Switzerland ("P&G") is organizing this Challenge.
7. Understanding English, which is the official language of the Challenge, is required to participate. The Challenge Organizers reserve the right to refuse any correspondence addressed in any other language.
Top dogs and accompanying owners need to adhere to the following conditions to be eligible to participate:
The selected dogs and the accompanying people (max. 2 people per selected dog) will be invited for a 5 days, expenses paid* trip to represent their country at the 2010 Eukanuba World Challenge and/or the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship
The selected dogs will compete in the 2010 Eukanuba World Challenge for the title of the Eukanuba World Challenge Champion, with a $10,000 prize for the winner, $3,000 for the runner up and $2,000 for the 3rd place.
The selected dogs make their owners eligible to win the $50,000 trophy prize for the Best in Show dog by competing within their breed classes under the AKC conditions at the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship (for more information visit the site: http://www.akc.org.)
